Requisition Calculator
A condo corporation in receipt of a meeting requisition supported by at least 15% of the units is legally required to call and hold a meeting of owners within 35 days. Requisitions are an important democratic tool that allows owners to raise issues and sometimes request a vote.
Requisitions set in motion firm (and very short) statutory deadlines. It is crucial for boards to act quickly and in accordance with these timelines to ensure the validity of the process.
When do you plan on giving the preliminary notice?
The preliminary notice must be sent out within 5 days of having received the requisition. Send the preliminary notice early to maximize your meeting date options.
Please input the date you plan to send the preliminary notice. If you select a date after the prescribed 5 days, the dates will be identified in red as falling outside of the statutory timeline.

Select a meeting date from the range calculated above to see the final deadlines based on your selected meeting date.
