A Smarter Way to Condo Law

We’re excited to introduce STACK Condo Law and the STACKed | Condo Adviser blog.

STACK was built with a clear objective: to simplify condo law by delivering fast, practical and precise legal solutions – supported by innovative technology.  No jargon. No unnecessary complications. Just clear strategic guidance that allows boards and managers to excel.

STACK Is Built Differently

The roots of STACK Condo Law go back more than a decade.

Rod, Jason and Josh worked together at a national law firm handling complex condo matters in a fast-paced environment. Over time, our paths diverged, but the idea of regrouping never disappeared.

We waited for the right moment to get the band back together. Not to do something new for novelty’s sake, but to design a practice that responds to the realities of the condo industry.

As condo governance grew more complex—driven by an increasingly detailed regulatory framework, heightened scrutiny, and rising demands on boards and managers—the need to do things better, and differently, became impossible to ignore.

Indeed, condo issues rarely fit in boxes or unfold neatly. They arise in meetings, urgent emails, and compressed timelines. Decisions made by volunteers carry real responsibility. In this context legal advice needs to be clear, timely, and usable – focused on decisions, risk, and outcomes, not abstraction.

That is how we practice.

We move quickly, speak a shared language, and apply experience efficiently. Our advice is framed around what needs to be decided, why it matters and how to implement solutions practically and responsibly.

Our Blog

The STACKed | Condo Adviser blog is part of our broader commitment to make condo governance simpler and more accessible. It builds on more than a decade of practical writing through Condo Adviser and commits to deliver clear, usable condo knowledge.

In the months ahead, we’ll break down common condo issues in plain language. We’ll explain not just what the law says, but how boards and managers can apply it in real-world decision-making.

Our Condo Tools

We’ve  also launched a suite of smart, online Condo Tools designed to streamline your corporation’s legal and administrative tasks.

From AGM planning, to lien calculations and disclosure forms, our tools bring clarity and efficiency to everyday condo operations. We’ll introduce these tools in the next couple of posts but you can already check them out!

Our Promise

Condo communities work best when boards are informed, confident, and supported. Clear requirements, fair process, and practical advice are the foundation of trust and the best way to avoid conflict before it starts.

That’s what STACK is built to deliver and we’re excited to start this journey with you.
