The Final Version of the Licensing Regulations for Condo Managers is Officially Out!

The Ministry of Government and Consumer Services has just issued and posted online the final version of the Licensing Regulations for Condo Managers!  You can read the final text here. While the precise education requirements for condo managers have yet to be specified, Condo Manager licensing is expected to begin in the fall of 2017.

We have not yet compared the final version with the one circulated in January but will report back to you should we find any significant differences between the two versions.

Survey

The Ministry has also launched a survey to collect information about disputes and challenges faced by condo residents. Specifically, they are seeking information on the most common types of disputes occurring within condo communities. Your feedback will help the province develop tools to prevent and resolve condo disputes.  This survey takes about 10 minutes to complete.

An English version of the survey can be completed here.  To get a French version of it, you apparently need to send an email to ONCONDO@ontario.ca.
