The Condo Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario (CMRAO) began licensing condo managers on November 1, 2017.  At the time, the deadline to apply for a licence was January 29, 2018. After this date, anyone providing condo management services in Ontario had to have a licence (or had to have applied for one).

The CMRAO has now extended to March 30, 2018 the deadline to apply for a CM licences.   You can read more about the process on the CMRAO’s website.

This extension is similar to the one provided for condominium corporations to register with the Condo Authority of Ontario. The new deadline for such registration is February 28, 2018.
